FORT HOOD, Texas – The Fort Hood Education Services Division is slated to hold a two-day college fair April 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and April 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort Hood Community Events Center located at Building 50012 on base.
This free event is open to all soldiers, family members, Retirees and civilians affiliated with the Fort Hood community.
Representatives from more than 80 local and distance learning colleges and universities will be on hand to answer questions related to their programs. Participants will get a chance to learn about current traditional and non-traditional education programs.
During the college fair, the ESD will also host an information booth regarding the Army’s Structured Self Development. soldiers will learn about the mandatory self-study training modules, as well as learn how to earn up to 27 college credit hours through the completion of SSD Module One.
