URUZGAN, Afghanistan – One child was killed and three others wounded when an insurgent detonated a motorcycle-borne improvised explosive device in Lublan village, Deh Rawud district, Feb. 6.
The children were playing in front of a village compound near the Deh Rawud bazaar when the IED detonated.
One of the injured children was transported to the Deh Rawud clinic for treatment and the remaining two were transported to a nearby coalition Special Operation Forces clinic for care.
