Q: What’s your job?
A: My job is to oversee any transactions made on Cherry Point. We make sure the Marines get their entitlements when they’re forward deployed or temporarily assigned to another duty.
Q: What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
A: My Marines. They are the backbone of this shop. Without them, the shop wouldn’t be as effective or proficient.
Q: What’s the most challenging part?
A: Ensuring every Marine’s entitlements are up to date.
Q: How does your job support the mission of 2nd MAW and MCAS Cherry Point?
A: We support every forward-deployed Marine. Any financial problem a forward Marine has, we can take care of while they’re in country.
Q: How does your job differ from garrison to the field?
A: When I was deployed, I would help run convoys that were carrying generals and VIPs. The admin Marines who are deployed as admin still work hand in hand with our IPAC Marines here to make sure Marines get what they’ve earned.
