Commandos, USSF supply Onkhai Valley Medical Clinic
WARDAK PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Soldiers from 2nd Company, 6th Commando Kandak and Special Operations Task Force–East delivered medical and humanitarian supplies to the Onkhai Valley Medical Cinic in the village of Nasir Kheyl, Wardak province May 12.
The soldiers also met with leaders of the hospital to discuss future supply needs and to reaffirm the support of the Government of Afghanistan.
The clinic is the main provider of medical care for the village and the surrounding area, and allows local vilagers to get basic level medical care without traveling far distances to other medical clinics or hospitals.
