    100 Men Inducted into ALP Training Program in Gor Tepa Region

    KUNDUZ, Afghanistan – Soldiers with C Company, 2nd Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, were in attendance as village elders identified and inducted 100 men into the Afghan Local Police Training Program in Larkhabi, Gor Tepa region March 23.

    During the induction process, elders from nearby villages selected a local commander who brought candidates, one by one, before a board of elders. After each candidate was interviewed, a vote was conducted to determine those selected for the ALP program.

    Soldiers with C Company will continue to meet with local leaders to assist in building Afghan National Security Forces. The continued partnership will focus on developing local police forces to maintain a secure environment for the citizens of Kunduz.
