A: Myself and the other mechanics maintain the squadron’s CH-53Es to ensure they are always ready to fly.

Q: What’s your favorite aspect of your job?

A: My favorite part is to know there are not many people who can say they work on helicopters for a living.

Q: What’s the most challenging part?

A: It can be tough to keep up with the constantly changing flight schedules.

Q: How does your job support the mission of 2nd MAW?

A: We’re taking care of the aircraft in regards to everything on the ground, so pilots can carry out their missions and flights.

Q: How does your job differ from garrison to the field?

A: In the field, the environment can be much more stressful and the flight schedule can be even more hectic.
