Q: What’s your job?
A: I teach, mentor and coach junior non-commissioned officers to become the leaders of the Marine Corps.
Q: What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
A: I like training NCOs how to be leaders. I watch them grow up through the ranks and lead junior Marines in their missions.
Q: What’s the most challenging part?
A: The most challenging part is pushing the NCOs to strive for what they can be and realize their full potential as leaders.
Q: How does your job support the mission of 2nd MAW?
A: I support the basic junior NCO by enabling them to step up and take charge. Mission accomplishment starts at the lowest level of leadership.
Q: How does your job differ from garrison to the field?
A: It would be the same, training leaders is the same across the board.
