MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. - Cherry Point Marine Corps Community Services has erected a paintball field at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Oak Street. The hours for the field are Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Unit training can be conducted on the field Wednesday through Friday with at least five days notice.
Use of the field for active, reserve, retired and dependents costs $20 and includes paintball gun, air tank, mask, 500 paintballs, compressed air and field fee, or $15 if you have your own gun, tank and mask.
For all others, the cost is $30 for the equipment or $25 if you bring your own gun, tank and mask.
Only field paint is authorized for use, which may be purchased at 500 paintballs for $10 .
