WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio — The Air Force Materiel Command Digital Transformation Office, in partnership with Gapingvoid Culture Design Group, has officially opened applications for its next executive Digital Transformation Masterclass, convening Oct. 26–30 in Dayton, Ohio.

Designed for senior leaders across the Department of the Air Force, this intensive experience equips leaders to navigate large-scale systems change, eliminate organizational friction and scale modern digital practices across major programs.

    Executive Immersion for Enterprise Impact

As the DAF accelerates digital modernization, senior leaders face the complex challenge of aligning legacy processes with modern operating rhythms. The Masterclass moves beyond theoretical concepts to address the operational and human dimensions of digital adoption, focusing on:

    • Culture Change and Institutional Agility: Overcoming bureaucratic inertia and cultivating a digital-first mindset across enterprise teams.
    • Trust in AI and Advanced Automation: Operationalizing emerging technologies responsibly and accelerating decision-making velocity.
    • Data-Driven Execution: Shifting from intuition to integrated data architectures for acquisition oversight.
    • Iterative and Agile Governance: Leading teams in rapid software delivery, continuous integration, and modern product management.

"Digital transformation is fundamentally a leadership and culture challenge, not just a technical one," said S. Craig Spraggins, director, AFMC Digital Transformation Office. "This Masterclass provides our senior leaders with the shared vision, cultural frameworks, and cross-center alignment necessary to drive rapid, lasting change across the acquisition lifecycle."
