Col. Chris Sedlacek, 910th Airlift Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Howard Dixon, 910th Airlift Wing command chief, held a commander’s call at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, Sept. 12, 2026.
During the event, the 910th AW welcomed back deployed members of the 76th Aerial Port Squadron. Master Sgt. Kevin Mills, a member of the 76th APS, spoke on his experience.
“We were tasked with stepping into an unfamiliar environment, and the mission was real,” said Mills. “You continue to show up and get the job done over and over again. When circumstances changed, you adapted. And when people depend on us, we deliver.”
Additionally, there were briefings to discuss social media conduct, intel and security updates for all members of the installation.
Sedlacek and Dixon closed the commander’s call by discussing the 910th AW’s adaptability, the contribution from Airmen, the relocation of the main gate and potential projects.
“This wing has done more in the past 15 months than I’ve ever seen in my 30-plus years in the Air Force,” said Sedlacek. “I couldn’t be prouder of the team here.”
A commander’s call allows leadership to keep the 910th AW informed, connect Airmen with resources and ensure the wing remains mission ready always.
