FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FORT SILL, Okla. — Fort Sill officials can confirm that a Service Member assigned to Fort Sill was struck and killed on Interstate 44 this morning, Sept. 11, 2026.
The incident is currently under investigation. To protect the integrity of the investigation, no further details will be released at this time. In accordance with Department of War policy and out of respect for the family's privacy, the identity of the service member is being withheld until next-of-kin notification is complete.
