FORT KNOX, Ky. — Fort Knox, dust off your lederhosen or dirndls and get ready for some delicious food and drink; Oktoberfest is returning to Brooks Field on Sept. 25.
Fort Knox’s favorite family-friendly fall festival will deliver fun for all with German-styled cuisine, heritage and culture – and bouncy houses for the children.
Events will include a bratwurst eating contest, barrel rolling, keg tossing, hayrides and a pumpkin patch. Live German music will be performed during the event for those who like to dance.
The event itself is free and open to the public. However, food, beverages, and activities like the pumpkin patch and hayrides will require tickets, which can be purchased at the event for $1 per ticket.
No pets, coolers, or outside food or beverages are permitted. For more information, go to https://knox.armymwr.com/view-event/fort-knox-oktoberfest/7402183/113181.
