Fleet Readiness Center Southwest

More than 500 prospective employees filled a large event space in San Diego as Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) employees meet with job seekers to discuss career opportunities across the command. The recruiting effort seeks to fill more than 200 positions supporting the U.S. military and the Department of War’s defense strategy, connecting talented members of the San Diego community with opportunities to contribute to a mission of national importance.

FRCSW plays a critical role in maintaining the readiness of the nation’s Navy and Marine Corps aviation forces by providing essential maintenance, repair, overhaul and engineering support that keeps aircraft and warfighters ready to answer the call. Behind that mission are dedicated people whose skills, expertise and commitment directly contribute to the strength and readiness of the U.S. military.

For many of the prospective employees attending the event, these positions represent more than simply another career opportunity. They are a chance to put their talents to work in support of something larger than themselves by serving their country and helping ensure America’s military remains ready, capable and resilient.
