    U.S. Army coordinates safe transit for Mexican military convoy to Joint Readiness Training Center, La.

    The U.S. Army, in close coordination with state and national partner agencies, isfacilitatingthe safe transit and escort of a Mexican Army convoy from the U.S.-Mexico border to Fort Polk, Louisiana, for participationin the upcoming Joint Readiness Training Centerrotation 26-10.

    This movement is the result of extensive planning and coordination between the Department of War, the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, and state law enforcement and transportation agencies. All necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the public and the convoy, while minimizing any potential disruptions to civilian traffic along the route.
