FORT DRUM, N.Y. (Aug. 13, 2026) -- The Civilians of the Quarter ceremony on Aug. 13 recognized the outstanding performances of 25 civilian employees, while showcasing the diversity and depth of the Fort Drum workforce. Awardees serve in vital roles across the installation, including law enforcement, health care, protocol, family support, and security.
Col. Jason Adler, Fort Drum garrison commander, noted that while professionals represent numerous fields, they share a unified mission: supporting the Soldiers and families who live and work at Fort Drum.
“All of your efforts ensure that the 10th Mountain Division and our tenant units remain ready to deploy and are capable of accomplishing their missions wherever it takes them,” he said. “On behalf of our senior commander, Maj. Gen. (Scott) Naumann, I want to thank you all for your extraordinary commitment and dedication to our installation.”
Adler and Brig. Gen. Matti Honko, 10th Mountain Division (LI) deputy commanding general of interoperability, presented certificates to the following awardees:

Andrew Hickman was named overall Civilian of the Quarter in the GS 1-8 category.
