Strengthening the Formation: H2F Excellence Elevates the 4960th MFTB
The 4960th MFTB said goodbye to Staff Sgt. Kimani Fudail, one of the unit’s Holistic to Fitness (H2F) Integrators who departed the unit June 27, 2026. Fudail was a central figure in helping the battalion fulfill its mission of preparing tomorrow’s leaders. The Army demands Soldiers who are physically resilient and mentally sharp, and at the 4960th, that standard is taken seriously. Fudail provided consistent H2F guidance that played a key role in helping the unit meet that expectation, providing consistent coaching, and training designed to benefit everyone, offering each member of the unit the tools needed to improve their physical readiness and overall well‑being. A unit charged with shaping tomorrow’s leaders must set the standard, and through his work, Fudail helped to ensure that the 4960th stood as a strong, disciplined, and readiness‑focused example.
He also distinguished himself beyond the formation by earning the top spot in the Open Light Heavyweight Division of the Stingrey Classic bodybuilding competition held in Honolulu, Hawaii, in April of this year, a testament to his personal discipline and the added credibility he brought to the H2F program. His achievements reinforced the message he lived daily; excellence is earned through consistency, resilience, and commitment.
On his departure, Fudail left the 4960th in a stronger position than when he arrived. His contribution has been deeply impactful, Soldiers are more confident, more capable, and more committed to their own fitness and well-being because of his guidance and example. The systems he built, the standards he set, and the motivation he inspired will continue to shape leaders long after his departure. His contributions were solid, meaningful, and lasting, and the 4960th moves forward better prepared because of the groundwork he laid.
