FORT KNOX, Ky. — A few eager anglers showed up at key fishing spots on Otter Creek and Camp Carlson Lake March 31 with rods in hand.
They had gotten word that a truck full of rainbow trout was heading their way.
Fort Knox Hunt Control officials didn’t disappoint. By noon, 1,200 fish had been released into both bodies of water with the promise of more coming throughout April.
The next stocking of fish is planned for April 14 with a third stocking later in the month.
