FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. - The Fort Indiantown Gap Employee Association hosted a “Food for thought” event Feb. 26 at the Keystone Conference Center.

Fort Indiantown Gap employees were invited to the event for lunch and information on the association, which was founded in August 2025 as a volunteer-based organization focused on philanthropy in the local community.

“Our main focus is support for the community and philanthropy as a whole,” said Chad Bogosh, interim president of the Employee Association. “We want to help with veteran homelessness, food insecurity, anything. If there is something you need help with, we want to help.”

The Food for Thought event was intended to spread the word to other employees of Fort Indiantown Gap about the association, which is open to both federal and state employees.

“The biggest thing is getting the word out there and bringing together both federal and state employees,” said Brooke Bowers, a board member with the Employee Association. “That has been our biggest challenge, and that is what we want to accomplish.”

The Employee Association has plans for future events around Fort Indiantown Gap.

“We plan on doing a door decorating contest, food drives, and we would like to see more participation from the employees here on Fort Indiantown Gap,” said Chief Devan Kramer, the Chief of the Fort Indiantown Gap Police Department.

“I would love to have a gala, it’s down the line but that is my big goal for this association,” said Bogosh.

Anyone interested in getting involved and volunteering with the Employee Association, should reach out to Chad Bogosh at mailto:cbogosh@pa.gov.
