FORT HOOD, Texas – Soldiers of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, will begin deploying in support of Operation New Dawn beginning Friday, Sept. 10 - Sept. 18. They will depart from Gray Army Airfield. The “Long Knife” Soldiers’ mission is exclusively to advise and assist Iraqi forces in Northern Iraq.
