Col. Jeanne Bisesi, 433rd Mission Support Group commander, officiated the change of command ceremony where Lt. Col. Eric L. Chancellor relinquished command of the 26th Aerial Port Squadron to Lt. Col. TeAnglia Moore, here, April 1.
Moore commissioned into the Air Force in May 1995 as a distinguished graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Gambling State University. She served on active duty for 12 years and held various leadership positions before joining the Air Force Reserves in August 2013. Prior to her assignment as the Operations Officer and Interim Commander of the 74th APS, she was the 433rd Airlift Wing's Director of Wing Inspections and Planning.
“I am grateful to serve as your commander,” said Moore. “I do not take it lightly that I have been entrusted with an incredible group of airmen. I look forward to bringing my best efforts and expect you to do the same.”
Moore assumed command from Lt. Col. Eric Chancellor, the outgoing 26th APS commander.
“To my port dogs, thank you for standing in the arena with me in defense of our nation, and thank you for making me a more thoughtful leader," he said. "I’m confident you all will take the 26th APS to the next level.”
The 26th APS deploys in support of contingency operations and humanitarian missions around the globe. They are responsible for inbound and outbound air traffic, including transportation, fleet and passenger services.
