WASHINGTON NAVY YARD, Washington (Dec. 10, 2025) -- Logistics Over the Shore (LOTS) (PMO 314) Deputy Program Manager Robin Olson was recognized for service as acting program manager during the program manager's three-month absence, ensuring the stability and continuity of the LOTS portfolio and leading long-term planning initiatives essential for the future viability of LOTS missions.
Olson led the PMO 314 team through the highly complex processes required for a successful fiscal year end close-out and navigated the team through a turbulent fiscal year end and a lapse in appropriations, developing and executing critical plans to ensure progress on high-priority LOTS programs and mitigating mission risk and schedule delays.
In addition, Olson conducted an analysis to understand the complex requirements for extending the service life of amphibious logistics delivery systems and to quantify the emerging demands placed on the Joint Petroleum Over the Shore system.
"Robin’s voluntary assumption of the acting PM role had a profound and measurable impact on PMO 314 and the operational future of the LOTS portfolio," said PMO 314 Program Manager David Dailey. "He displayed outstanding leadership, initiative, and dedication spanning high-level strategic planning, program and people management during a shutdown, critical budget coordination, and congressional advocacy."
