U.S. Army Reserve 143rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command conducts GCSS Army workshop

Orlando, Fla., Dec 15, 2025. The U.S. Army Reserve 143rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command conducted a Global Combat Support System Army training workshop at the Armed Forces Reserve Center from Dec. 15 through 19 to strengthen logistics proficiency and reinforce Military Occupational Specialty skills.

Soldiers from across the unit participated in the workshop, which provided hands-on instruction to improve equipment and supply management, master data maintenance, transaction execution, and report generation within GCSS Army.

“I want to conduct this workshop annually to refresh essential GCSS Army skills for supply personnel,” said Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jamila Leary, Property Accounting Technician. “It is encouraging to see newer logistics Soldiers motivated to perform their duties while serving in the Army Reserve.”

The workshop enhanced the unit’s ability to deliver supplies and equipment in a timely manner, supporting autonomy of action, speed, and endurance for training events, mobilization, and assigned missions.

“The objective is to introduce effective approaches to managing supply actions within GCSS Army and strengthen professional pride among logisticians,” Leary said.

The workshop served as an investment in Soldier development and unit readiness. By increasing technical proficiency, reinforcing accountability, and improving coordination across sections, the training prepared participants to support daily operations and future missions, contributing to a more capable and mission-ready Army.
