WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio (AFLCMC) - Greg Leingang, Director of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Personnel Directorate hosted the AFLCMC/DP and Installation Force Support Annual Awards Ceremony, Sept. 17, 2025. The ceremony was an opportunity to recognize the outstanding contributions of the DP and FS personnel that enable mission success across AFLCMC.
Awards were given in 21 categories making it the broadest recognition ceremony to date.
Leingang acknowledged the challenging year the workforce had faced during his remarks.
“I know that this has been a particularly difficult year for our DP and force support communities…however, the mark of real professionals is the ability to navigate the current environment while continuing to get the work done,” he said. “This year has thrown many challenges your way and I’ve been amazed and thankful for your ability to put our service commitment first despite these challenges.”
He emphasized the important work the personnel community does on a daily basis on behalf of the Center’s mission of providing the tools needed by the warfighter. He explained that they acquire and sustain the human weapon system, who then acquires and sustains the materiel weapon systems that serve to protect the nation and its allies.
“Your professionalism, your tenacity and your exuberant spirit makes me proud to serve with you every day,” said Leingang. “You are the foundation of the Center. Everything begins and ends with the work that you do.”
