NAVAL AIR STATION PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) held its 2025 Offsite meeting with visiting CNATT domain leaders Sept. 23-25.
The theme of this year’s event was “Forging the Future Force: Training for the Fleet We Fight With.” The theme was specifically designed to dovetail directly with U.S. Navy Chief of Operations (CNO) Adm. Daryl Caudle’s Day One “Foundry – Fleet – Fight” message, with a heavy emphasis on CNATT’s contributions to the “Foundry” priority set forth by the CNO.

During the week, CNATT’s domain leaders sat through information briefs facilitated by members from some of the highest levels of the Navy, including Vice Adm. Daniel Cheever, commander, Naval Air Forces, Rear Adm. Gregory Huffman, commander Naval Education and Training Command, and many more.
On the offsite event’s final day, domain leaders had a chance to dive deep into their own schoolhouse’s progress and issues with representatives from the CNATT Pensacola staff, dubbed “speed rounds.”
CNATT’s mission is to advise on development and manage the delivery, sustainment and continual improvement of technical training for Sailors and Marines operating, maintaining and repairing aircraft weapons systems and associated equipment in support CNO-approved requirements.
