SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – Senior leaders from Scott Air Force Base recently gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new Veterans Affairs clinic at the 375th Medical Group.
The new primary care clinic will help expand healthcare for veterans living in the Metro East regions, bridging the gap for those who previously had to travel to St. Louis and strengthening continuity of care for thousands of veterans in the surrounding communities. The clinic serves as a testament to the partnership between the St. Louis VA Medical Center and the 375th MDG, with a common goal of providing accessible, high-quality care and honoring the service of our nation’s veterans.
Notable attendees at the ceremony included Rep. Mike Bost; Candace Ifabiyi, VA St. Louis Health Care System CEO; and U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Charles Bolton, 18th Air Force Commander.
