    Soldiers Killed in Accidents; DoD Identifies Previous Casualty

    A Task Force Lightning soldier died from injuries suffered in a vehicle rollover accident in Tikrit, Iraq, yesterday, and two Multinational Corps Iraq soldiers died last night as a result of a vehicle accident on Camp Liberty, military officials reported.

    The soldiers’ names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

    Meanwhile, the Defense Department released the identity of a Marine who was killed supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

    Lance Cpl. Adam Q. Emul, 19, of Vancouver, Wash., died Jan. 29 from wounds suffered while conducting combat operations in Anbar province. Emul was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
