Iraqi citizens stopped a Task Force Danger combat patrol and led them to a possible mass gravesite near Kirkuk today.

With confirmation that there were human remains present, the site was secured. Iraqi security forces and a local hospital were notified.

Earlier in the day, Task Force Danger troops from the 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment, detained three individuals after anti-Iraqi forces attacked a traffic checkpoint near Ad Duluiyah.

Also, 1st Infantry Division soldiers from 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, detained 19 individuals suspected of anti-Iraqi violence during a series of raids in the village of Siwash earlier today.

The soldiers confiscated two AK-47 assault rifles and one machine gun during the raids.

In both operations, the individuals detained were transferred to Multinational Force detention facilities for questioning. There were no reports of injuries during the two operations.
