The 600-page Army and Air Force Exchange Service Fall-Winter 1997 catalog will be available in exchanges everywhere starting July 29.

The catalog costs $5, but comes with a coupon for $8 off the first order of $25 or more. The book is divided into shopping sections: "For Your Home," gifts and collectibles, military pride, "For Someone Special," fashions, health care, recreation and toys, home office, and photo and electronics.

Anyone with exchange privileges -- including active duty military members, retirees, reservists and DoD civilians stationed overseas -- can use the catalog. It is valid through Jan. 31, 1998. Customers also can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards, the Navy Exchange NEXCARD and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service Deferred Payment Plan.

Free electronic in-store ordering is available at Army and Air Force exchanges and selected Marine Corps exchanges worldwide. Customers can also buy hundreds of selected catalog items by using the exchange service's Internet site, www.aafes.com.
