National Guard and Reserve members called to active duty are being offered free 30-day membership use of Bally Total Fitness centers nationwide.

Company officials said Bally made the offer to help reservists prepare physically for active duty. The program will expire on Dec. 25.

Reservists who wish a free membership should visit the Bally Web site at www.ballyfitness.com/rd/reserve.asp to locate their nearest fitness center and to print a membership card. Basic personal information is required to print the card.

Reservists can use the fitness center of their choice. They must show the member card, and their military identification and orders, or a commander's letter stating they are on orders.

For more information on the company program, visit the Bally Web site or send e-mail to Cheryl Pawlak at cpawlak@ballyfitness.com.
