    Patrol Squadron (VP) 10

The VP-10 Red Lancers recently returned from a successful detachment to Colombia, where they partnered with the Colombian Navy in support of a Diesel-Electric Submarine Initiative Exercise (DESIEX). Led by Officer in Charge LCDR Robert “Bobby” Mills, the team executed a series of dynamic Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) missions that underscored VP-10’s tactical expertise and operational professionalism.

These missions provided Colombian Navy personnel the unique opportunity to witness and conduct operations alongside the P-8A Poseidon, enhancing their understanding of maritime patrol and reconnaissance capabilities. Throughout the detachment, the Red Lancers demonstrated a high degree of interoperability, strengthening regional partnerships and advancing shared maritime security objectives.

This detachment reinforced VP-10’s operational readiness and also exemplified the squadron’s ongoing commitment to international collaboration in complex and evolving operational environments.
