MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C.- U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Emma Bolado, a network administrator with Communications Company, Headquarters and Service Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and a native of Montgomery, Pennsylvania, was selected as the 2nd MLG Warrior of the Week at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 2, 2025.
Bolado’s command selected her as the warrior of the week due to her instrumental work fulfilling pre-deployment requirements for exercise Native Fury. Bolado invested countless hours ensuring network systems maintain constant connectivity while troubleshooting potential areas of concern to strengthen command and control capabilities for the battalion.
When asked about what keeps her motivated and what advice she could give others, Bolado said, “It can either be a short fix or a long fix to problems, but the feeling from troubleshooting the really complex things makes me feel really accomplished. When things get hard you just have to keep cranking and pushing.”
Bolado’s command notes that her work ethic motivated her peers and instilled a strong team spirit in the face of long hours and adversity leading up to the exercise. Each Week, 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member. (U.S. Marine Corps story by Cpl.
