8th LRS POL flight tours new aircraft refueling unit

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea--The 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron petroleum, oils, and lubricants flight, spoke with Airmen assigned to the Republic of Korea Air Force 38th Battalion Supply Company during a tour of a ROKAF aircraft refueling unit at Kunsan Air Base, ROK, Jan. 21, 2025.

During the tour, Airmen spoke and explored the operation, management, and maintenance necessary to run the aircraft refueler efficiently.

According to Master Sgt. Kameron Mills, 8th LRS fuels information service center section chief, the shift to this new Korean refueling variant will be cost-effective and streamline local access to maintenance care for the vehicles, ensuring continued support for combat sortie generation during refueling.

This new Korean refueling variant is set to be integrated into the POL mission next fiscal year.
