KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan national security forces and International Security Assistance Force partners responded to the attack in the Shajoy bazaar, Zabul province, April 25, in which two Afghan citizens were killed and seven were wounded in a suicide bomb attack.
Afghan and ISAF troops provided medical care to the injured civilians.
The wounded were taken by helicopter to a nearby ISAF forward operating base for additional treatment while the security forces secured the bazaar and surrounding area.
The attack occurred early this morning as the bazaar was opening. The incident is currently under investigation by ANSF.
