SCOTT AIR FROCE BASE, Ill. --
Team Scott hosted over 280 Regional High School students for the Spring Scott Showcase event, April 9. Nine ROTC and JROTC detachments attended the Showcase providing an opportunity for students to gain perspective on the operations of the U.S. Armed Forces and federal agencies.
This opportunity allowed students and cadets to learn about the mission at Scott AFB and engage with representatives from other participating branches. Various displays were set up that facilitated informative discussions with students and subject matter experts regarding their career fields.
This event allowed service members to demonstrate and highlight the activities of their roles within the military. It introduced potential career opportunities to students who may find those career fields appealing.
