LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District is seeking lease proposals for office space as part of their plan to move the district headquarters further into the heart of the Central Business District in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

“Relocating our district headquarters is not just about changing our address; it’s about positioning ourselves to better serve our workforce, our community, and the American public for years to come. This move is about finding a state-of-the art, modern working environment that reflects our world-class organization. It also supports the local economy and a vibrant downtown.” said Col. L. Reyn Mann, USACE Louisville District Commander.

The Louisville District headquarters has been located in the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building since 1969.

“We are the US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District and there’s no better place for us than the heart of the city we call home. We are currently in the initial steps of collecting proposals for evaluation and hope to be in our new space by 2025-2026,” said Mann.

Interested parties have until Apr. 30, 2024, to submit a proposal.
