Scott Air Force Base Airmen attended First Responder’s Appreciation Day hosted by the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, Sept. 17, 2023.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jalen Brown, 435th Supply Chain Operations Squadron section technician, and Airman 1st Class Griffin Nichols, 15th operational Weather Squadron weather apprentice were two of the airmen who were honored for their achievements and given the distinct honor of throwing ceremonial pitches, a testament to their dedication and service in both the military and their roles as first responders in the community.

This event symbolizes the strong and enduring community bonds between Scott AFB and surrounding communities.
