KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan contractors and ISAF provincial reconstruction team members officially handed over a 10-kilometer road reconstruction project to residents of Nahrin District, Baghlan province last week.
District leaders requested the project in November because flooding last spring swept away the road between the district's main town and the nearby Shorachah District. With the approval of the provincial government, the Hungarian PRT financed the project and local contractors completed it.
