Airmen from units across the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing made up the latest class of Red Tail University at a recent graduation ceremony.
“The program strives to offer professional development courses that anyone can take. Airmen can come, officers can come,” said Master Sgt. LaDonna Ford, director of Red Tail University. “It’s not just your regular job-based classes. We offer a variety of topics like critical thinking and public speaking.”
Graduating Airmen were categorized into two sections; achievement level, which required 15 classes completed with at least one class taught, and leader level, which required 25 classes completed and three classes instructed.
“We set out to create a second tier of achievement, thinking it would result in fewer people reaching it, but it looks like we really lit a fire under people because we actually have more than before,” said Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Eberlin, 332d AEW command chief.
Those interested in attending future Red Tail University Classes can sign up weekly through the 332d AEW SharePoint site.
