KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 8th Operations Group and the 8th Maintenance Group conducted surge operations as a part of the VIGILANT STORM 23 combined flying training event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, October 31-November 5, 2022. Both the 80th and 35th Fighter Squadrons took to the skies over the ROK, conducting more than 335 flight-hours as a part of the pre-planned annual event.
VIGILANT STORM 23 is a part of an annual, continuous training schedule and was designed to enhance the combat readiness and survivability of US-ROK forces to further strengthen the Alliance.
