Kaiserslautern, Germany – Media members are invited to visit the U.S. Army Regional Correctional Facility-Europe on Sembach Kaserne, Germany from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on November 22.
Guests will receive a tour of the three-year award winning facility and observe operational demonstrations and an award ceremony. Kaiserslautern Polizei President Mr. Michael Denne, Maj. Gen. James Smith, commanding general, 21st Theater Sustainment Command and Maj. Randall Zamora, facility commander, will be attending the event. The high profile detention facility was recently accredited by the American Correctional Association for upholding standards and procedures necessary to safely operate and protect workers and offenders in the system.
Media interested in attending the tour and engaging the leaders present should email usarmy.rheinland-pfalz.21-tsc.list.pao@army.mil to be placed on a guest list and ensure access to Sembach Kaserne and inside the correctional facility.

The 21st Theater Sustainment Command executes mission command of operational sustainment across the European theater; conducts reception, staging, onward movement and integration; executes theater opening, theater distribution, and theater sustainment in support of U.S. European Command and NATO operations; and, as directed, executes joint security and support to U.S. Africa Command operations.
