A recent severe weather forecast resulted in 29 aircraft participating in a flyaway throughout the afternoon and evening, while other aircraft were safely stored in hangars or out on other missions. The weather forecast provided base personnel the opportunity to test their ability to safely and rapidly launch a large number of aircraft in a short time.
