HULMAN FIELD AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Ind. (Mar. 4, 2021) - The 181st Logistics Readiness Flight wins the 2020 Logistics Readiness Squadron of the Year- Non-Flying Unit Award for the Air National Guard.
The competition for the award was for any LRS or base logistics unit having typical LRS roles and responsibilities in support of non-flying units.
“This award is a direct reflection of the Airmen of the 181st LRF,” said U.S. Air Force Maj. Corrine Foree, 181st LRF commander. “I couldn’t be more proud of this group.”
The Airmen of the 181st LRF worked tirelessly managing wing COVID deployed response, processing 70 members which accumulated over 123,000 hours statewide.
“They have relentlessly worked to meet customer needs, maintain accountability, and get the mission done,” said Foree. “Like other support units, there is constant effort behind the scenes by our ten different AFSCs to ensure this Wing has the resources to complete the mission today, and for the next decade.”
