Some join the Army Reserve for adventure. Others join for the chance to serve the nation. Staff Sgt. Adelina Inzunza joined to become a U.S. citizen.
As a Hispanic Army Reserve Soldier, Inzunza sees herself as a role model for other young Hispanic people considering service in the military because of her success. Her brother was a role model to her, too. He served 17 years in the Army, which included four overseas tours.
Inzunza also enjoys the financial stability that comes with serving as a full-time Active Guard Reserve Soldier. She currently services as a Budget Analyst for the 88th Readiness Division Directorate of Resource Management.
The Riverside, Calif., native said “my Mother “is very proud” of her career in the Army Reserve.
