On September 18, 2020, members of the 37th AS participated in Exercise Falcon Leap 2020, an annual parachute exercise held at Eindhoven Air Base, Netherlands. The 37th AS provided airlift capabilities to Belgian, Dutch and German airborne military members. Exercise Falcon Leap 2020 takes inspiration from Operation Market Garden, an Allied World War II airborne mission. Operation Market Garden’s intent was to capture three major bridges to reach Germany’s industrial heartland. Exercises like Falcon Leap 2020 allow better interoperability among other U.S. branches and international mission partners.
