United States Air Force Master Sgt. Benjamin Hunt joined the Indiana Air National Guard because it was a family tradition to serve, serve his community, plus the benefits and life experiences.
“I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself,” said Hunt.
Hunt has been in the guard for eleven years.
He has served in personnel and currently is the traffic management office superintendent in the Logistics Readiness Flight.
“I am responsible for passenger movement, shipping and receiving government owned cargo,” said Hunt.
Hunt has been on two deployments during his career.
“During the deployment I made lifelong friends and interacted with people all over the world,” said Hunt. “Everyone has their own unique story.”
Hunt continues to proudly serve everyday as the TMO superintendent at the 181st Intelligence Wing.
“The benefits and experience you receive will give you a leg up in life,” said Hunt. “You will make lifelong friends. There is nothing else like it. You might even learn something about yourself.”
