Resiliency is more than just a buzzword. It is a key ingredient to building a stronger, more lethal force, and there are few places where that is more important than the United States military.

EvenPulse provides Airmen the tools necessary to better manage the many stressors that are part of the military lifestyle.

“EvenPulse is an education and training company that provides training on human performance, stress reduction and resilience building,” said Stephen Robinson, founder and CEO of EvenPulse. “We work with Airmen all over the country, and our focus is on providing a skill based approach so that the Airmen can more effectively do their jobs and also apply these from a life skill standpoint.”
Service members are exposed to a wide range of stressors in life and in their jobs that can negatively affect their work performance.
“Airmen need to perform effectively in order for the Air Force to be effective as an institution and branch of the Armed Services, so human performance needs to be the first order of business,” said Robinson. “Many Air Force jobs are inherently stressful, and the possibility of extreme stress exists within many job domains; therefore training them to regulate their stress fits with human performance.”
EvenPulse uses a unique method to teach people how to improve performance, lower stress and anxiety, support self-regulation of the stress response, and gain relief and recovery for better performance.
“Our training is built in five different modules,” said Robinson. “We work in the areas of breath control, attentional control, the use of simulation, we work with energy, emotions and recovery. We call that the “BASE-R” method.”
Every job in the military can be difficult at times. Those charged with defending this nation need to focus all of their attention on the task at hand and EvenPulse is providing Airmen skills that will help them do just that.

“EvenPulse has helped me get a better understanding of how the human body reacts under stress.” Said Staff Sgt. Luis Valentin, NCOIC of the 9th Security Forces Tactical Response Team. “In turn educating me on how to combat the effects on your body under stress in order to still be combat effective.”
