5th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment   

Soldiers of Area Support Group Black Sea conducted a change of command ceremony at Mihail Kogalniceanu Airbase, Romania, Nov. 5, 2019. Alabama National Guard Col. Larry Vaughn will assume command of ASG-BS, replacing Alabama Army National Guard Col. Dale Murray. The ceremony was presided by Maj. Gen. Christopher O. Mohan, commander of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. ASG-BS oversees operations in Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, enabling the strong Europe concept by creating beneficial opportunities to improve capabilities with our partners and allies.
