KABUL, Afghanistan - One coalition service member and a U.S. civilian working for coalition forces were killed as a result of an improvised explosive device attack on a coalition convoy at approximately 8 a.m, May 20.
The area has been secured, and the attack is under investigation. Names, nationalities and service components of the coalition members killed and those wounded in the incident are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
