Airman 1st Class Breanna Carter was chosen as the July Medic of the Month where she fully embraces patient safety using the Trusted Care principles. Carter has led multiple safety huddles and crafted schedules to maximize team efficiency for over 400 patients. Her efforts help patients to understand the importance of health care and their role as a part of their own treatment team, here at Goodfellow and as they progress, which is directly in line with the 17 Training Wing commander’s intent of creating lifelong learners. Not only does Carter have a patient-safety mindset but she has a warrior’s heart and she’s been pivotal in the success of the Warrior Ancillary Specialized Program. Carter is a wingman, leader, and warrior. Col. Lauren Byrd, 17th Medical Group commander and the 17th MSG are proud to call her a Cobra Medic!
