CAMP LIBERTY, Iraq - This team has worked together for several years so they are a tight group and have each other's back. The Supply section is made up of three people.
The unit armorer, Sgt. Cole Brookman, a native of Williston, N.D., has been doing an outstanding job keeping everything in line with the weapons. His latest accomplishment was to get all the squad automatic weapons in and have the extractor pins replaced. While he had the SAWS in his possession, he changed out the swivel pins in the slings to make it easier for the Soldiers to carry.
Spc. Amber Showalter, a native of Dutton, Mont., is another key member of the supply team. She will actually go to where the Soldiers are and help them order office supplies and replace unserviceable uniforms. Her other duties include going to the supply support area yard daily to check the status of new orders.
The unit supply sergeant is Sgt. 1st Class Brian Johnson, from Havre, Mont. His main duties are to ensure that both of his Soldiers are doing their jobs correctly and to give authorization to order the items needed to keep the company running effectively. He is a liaison between the battalion and the company.
